Kimo Eiserbeck born and raised in the sunny south of Germany, the Markgräflerland, started his musical journey by first learning clarinet, switched to alto sax at the age of 13 and studied Jazz at the „Hochschule für Musik und Theater“ in Hamburg. The city became his new home, where he still resides.
Due to his studies he started exploring the sounds of other woodwind instruments: soprano sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, bass clarinet, and the flute. The EWI, the Fender Rhodes, the Hammond organ, drums, and the Persian, Egyptian Ney became new aspects of his prolific musical endeavours and works.
He came from the groove of Funk and Rhythm and Blues, went on to the world of Jazz. Philosophy and Hip-Hop have always been part of his heart and soul. He has not only been playing internationally in different groups but has been on many different albums as a studio musician (Diazpora, the Winston Brothers, the Offline, just to name a few) as well as for music for documentaries and movies („ARTE: Die magischen Anden“, „Tom and Jerry“) and commercials. He has been composing, arranging, and producing in his own unique way for different projects (TheJayCase, Park Sessions, Bro & Kimo, to name a few) and for several years for and with JER.
